Chantal Mallett > INSPIRATION: Off the shoulder, 18th century corset & full skirt with 'Dangerous Liaisons' styling. The gown is made in ivory silk & features a huge sweeping silk cape with panels of georgette which cascades to the ground from the back neckline. The corset fastens in the front & features decorative tied bows, the seams of the corset have been embellished with lace & rows of hand beaded pearls. NOTE: This design is an older sample & should be viewed as inspiration. Chantal Mallett > INSPIRATION: Off the shoulder, 18th century corset & full, tulle skirt. The pretty corset is made in ivory & pink satin & features a harlequin design on the front panel, draping over the bust, tied & looped ribbon style straps & pearl beadwork. NOTE: This design is an older sample & should be viewed as inspiration. Chantal Mallett > Off the shoulder, 18th century style corset & fishtail (classic version I) skirt in midnight blue. The corset is made in devore velvet & trimmed with satin piping, the skirt is made in silk crepe with satin trimmed hem. The 'criss cross' sleeves (shown in the image on the left) are also made in devore velvet. N.B. This corset & sleeve design can be done in various silks but the devore silk option (because of the pile) would be more expensive as this fabric is difficult to work with & more time consuming than other fabrics. Details include: hand tinted organza roses, hand strung pearl trim around the neckline & hand beadwork on the corset, skirt & sleeves. Fabrics are gold silk, pink & gold stripe & pink/gold organza.
