TESTIMONIAL by Sofia:
"Cinderella went to the biggest ball of her life thanks to her fairy godmother Chantal.
I knew the white wedding dress wasn't for me and I wanted my dress to be different, big, bold and gold and that is exactly what Chantal created for me.
She took the time to sit down with me and discuss all my ideas. We talked endlessly on the phone and emailed each other and she also created a stunning tiara and earrings to match my dress.
Chantal provided a service that could not be compared.
Chantal did more than create a stunning dress for me, she helped me when I was stressed with all the wedding plans especially when it came to the page boys, she pointed me in the right direction, and with her creativity and ideas we always found a solution.
Chantal assisted me up until the end, even on the actual wedding day she was there styling my hair and puffing up my dress at the church.
I will never forget my Prince Charming's face when he saw me, mission was accomplished!, he was blown away and reduced to tears as to how amazing I looked."
TESTIMONIAL by Diana:
"Having what can at best be described as a poor body image and absolute dread of myself in photographs, I was really apprehensive about finding a wedding dress that I felt good in and would photograph well so that I wanted to hang my wedding pics on the wall instead of throwing them in the bin. I was also dreading the trying-on of gowns in bridal shops, as I have heard so many horror stories about larger brides being made to feel awful during what should be some of the most fun times of their lives.
What a breath of fresh air I found in Chantal! From the moment I found her website and stunning dresses I was totally hooked, and when I met her to discuss the commission she was down to earth, really friendly and very honest about the types of gowns that would flatter me and those which I should avoid.
I decided on a variation on her Damsel design - I wanted lilies instead of ivy for the embroidery as lilies have special meaning for my husband and me. She designed a beautiful lily, which worked very well with the dress and also adapted the sleeves to suit me better. The fittings were wonderful - Chantal was very flexible and opened her showroom at times when I could make the journey, and seeing the gown take shape slowly gave me tantalising glimpses of how I might look.
On the day, Chantal dressed me and did my hair. She also masterfully stopped the family squabbles and managed to calm me down a little as I was very nervous.
The first time I saw myself, in full gown, shoes, hair and make-up I just wanted to stop time and stay like that forever - I truly looked the best I ever have and felt so beautiful. And when my handsome prince saw me walking up the aisle towards him he was totally stunned and could not take his eyes off me not just through the ceremony but all day. I was so glad Chantal was there to see the effect she created. With all the compliments and attention I really felt like Cinderella at the ball, which makes Chantal my fairy godmother.
And we're living happily ever after."
TESTIMONIAL by Lucy P:
"The dress was amazing with meticulous attention to detail, it fitted me perfectly and was incredibly flattering as well as surprisingly comfortable for a corset. I felt truly fantastic on the day."
Chantal was the first bridal designer that I visited and I booked the dress on the spot. The showroom is very easy to get to from the city and Chantal was more than happy to work around my crazy working hours and often opened her showroom late into the evening.
Chantal also helped me with my bouquet, bridesmaid dress, made my headress and even styled my hair and the bridesmaids on the day. She even helped my mother in law with her outfit and was always very patient with various family members that came along to fittings!"
TESTIMONIAL by Sarah:
"After a long conversation & throwing ideas & styles & colours into the air, we both had an idea & a provisional drawing was made. It all seemed so easy then, I had met someone whose ideas where the same as mine - anything seemed possible.
From that point I put my complete trust in Chantal, she was not only able to create what I had dreamed of (& I can assure you I had a lot of sleepless nights about) but improved on it."
