Opposite - Muna's design work.
BRIDESMAIDS DESIGN SERVICE:
Although I only create the bride's gown, I realise that finding bridesmaids gowns to match is difficult & therefore offer a design service to my clientele to design bridesmaids gowns & source appropriate fabrics & trimmings for the bride to take to a dressmaker to have made up.
The colour theme for the bridesmaids & flowers, etc. was chosen after visiting the venue (The Dorchester, Park Lane, London) with Muna. One of the reception rooms had a lovely rich glow & was decorated in warm pale greens, the ball room (the main room) also had touches of the same colour. We settled on pistachio green silk with piping in a richer green & a small amount of iridescent sequinned fabric - echoing in a simpler way the Swarovski crystal detail on Muna's gown. The design chosen reflected the shape of Muna's gown & the cut deliberately kept simple enough so that a dressmaker could adapt a basic pattern to create it. Chantal.
