"As soon as I knew I was getting married I went looking for “that dress”. That dress being the one that would make me look and feel sexy and make my husband proud. I soon realised it wasn’t going to be easy.
I did not want to be a floaty bride or a traditional bride or a plain bride. I wanted a dress that unashamedly pushed my good bits up, pushed my bad bits in and made jaws drop. Everything I saw bored me. Everything was tame. I thought I’d never find it and then I did. I found “that dress” when I met Chantal.
Becoming the Ice Queen was so easy. I’d turn up for a few fittings and Chantal would work into the night making sure every detail of the gown was perfect.
In Chantal I found a friend and someone who listened to what I wanted and made my wedding dress dreams become a reality.
When the day finally came I walked down the aisle feeling both glamorous and sexy. My good bits were pushed up and my bad bits were pushed in and as I got nearer to my husband I saw that his jaw had most definitely dropped."

"My initial search for the perfect wedding dress proved fruitless. I toiled from shop to shop, and dressmaker to dressmaker. Despite my howls of protest they dressed me in puffy sleeves and giant hula-hoops, Edwardian riding habits and so-called 'contemporary' designs, all of them the obligatory 'traditional' white and looking like badly tailored meringues.
I'd just reached the decision to call the whole thing off and elope to Africa when I stumbled upon Chantal's website. EUREKA!"

I was told on more than one occasion on my wedding day by my guests that my dress was the best they had ever seen, I believe that it is the best they will ever see. I know for me nothing will ever match it.
As I told Chantal, during the run up to the wedding and at our fittings, I wish I could wear my dress every day. I feel the same now but the best thing is at least I am able to look at it.

Chantal is a beautiful, talented and creative woman, whose work I believe will be admired for many years to come, every part of my childhood dream is now complete. I could not say thank you enough. Every journey I made to Chantal's showroom was a pleasure, even though it was a 600 mile round trip."

When I started looking for my dress I brought numerous wedding magazines but looking through them just depressed me as they were filled with pictures of different versions of white satin dresses, which I didn’t want.
Then in one of them there was a picture of an amazing crimson red dress, my heart literally jumped over and I knew that the person who designed this dress was the person for me.
I logged on and looked at Chantal’s website, called her and although it was a Sunday evening we ending up talking for over an hour.

In Chantal I found someone who understood exactly what I wanted. My dress was the centre point for the wedding, everything from the stationary, to the groom’s outfit and the flowers so it had to have that wow factor which Chantal certainly delivered.
I consider Chantal much more than the person who designed my dress, she has become a friend who I will certainly keep in contact with and hopefully will see again either in London or Jersey.
