This variation is made in silver with Swarovski crystals in pinks & aurora borealis worked around the base. The piece is finished with my pink Tiffany Glass Effect & features tiny diamantes embedded into the effect.

This variation has been coloured up completely purple. Amethyst Swarovski crystals have been worked across the main body of the piece & amethyst Swarovski hearts hang from the centre of each arch.

This piece was made up for Jodean (Real brides portfolio) to match her deep purple, crushed velvet gown.

Bespoke design:

The client wanted a hairband/crown which would shore up her short curly hair. The brief was that she wished to wear it low, wanted a tie fastening near the nape of her neck & wanted the colours & design to go with her gown design. The silver was to be a dark tarnished silver. The client was overseas so the design was perfected via email.

The fabric of her bodice was a grey/blue green (sage colour made up of navy & green threads) with a beige colour chain stich running over it to create diamond shapes which were punctuated at the corners with tiny grey pearls.

I created some 20 or so designs & the client settled on the one shown; picking natural stone beads, dyed pearls & glass beads to decorate the piece. The silver was treated with a chemical to tarnish it.

This new hairband was based on the 4 strand Rosa design & built up into a design that would work on short hair & in combination with the mask above (the primary piece). The piece was made up in gold & featured Swarovski crystals in ab & lt colorado topaz & brown/copper colour glass beads.

The mask above matches this piece.
